That would be including the front, back and sides of the cushion. This worked well when I recovered a couch. So, for the chairs you would need about 2 yards for each chair, since they are about the size of 2 cushions. You might want to buy two and a half to be on the safe side. Hope this helps.Coffee in Leipzighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13576033610946381229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4024778820738888976.post-31894487154690569252013-06-10T14:06:08.914-05:002013-06-10T14:06:08.914-05:00Great! I always buy more than I think I will need, then go back for more if I am totally wrong. Sorry, I know that isn't all that helpful, but if you use this tutorial to make chair covers and find out the right amount of fabric per chair please let me know so I can add it in this post!Carla @ Hammers and High Heelshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16169182688809628378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4024778820738888976.post-4613501033224486782012-05-02T14:17:49.350-05:002012-05-02T14:17:49.350-05:00How much fabric is needed per chair? How much fabric is needed per chair?Sara Briggs https://www.blogger.com/profile/06329143719627762128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4024778820738888976.post-61942286044031882122012-04-24T22:56:35.253-05:002012-04-24T22:56:35.253-05:00Thanks so much for sharing this. I would take the measurements and try to make a pattern that fits the round shape of the top of the chair. So there would be a seam along the side, round top, and other side (mine don't have the top seam). If that is confusing send me an email and I can quick sketch out the idea!

~CarlaCarlahttp://hammersandhighheels.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4024778820738888976.post-75776644638501554032011-10-21T14:38:32.016-05:002011-10-21T14:38:32.016-05:00Great site!
