Operation Ugly Yard Overhaul Part II: Top Soil and Planting Grass!

I couldn't believe it! Finally time to plan grass! I never thought I would see the day! So once we got home with all of our top soil, we had to open and pour out the soil all over the yard. Here are the stats: 58 bags of top soil = 2,320 lbs of soil, so we had just over a ton of soil in our yard... boy that was fun! Here is what it looked like:

Then we grabbed our rakes and spread the soil to a nice even layer to support healthy growing grass.

Next, Alex spread some seed all over, we used Scotts Shade and Sun mix since our yard is mostly shade after 12pm. Now, it was time to wait and water!
